Help us secure a safe cycle route into Totnes from Newton Abbot, and please help ensure the National Cycle Network does not bypass Totnes altogether – We are volunteers seeking to create a safe cycle route between Totnes and Newton Abbot, which will also complete a missing link in the National Cycle Network (Route NCN2). We aim to convince Devon County Council to back a safe, direct and mostly flat route, that arrives in the centre of Totnes by the railway station. The council, however, looked poised to sign off a much longer route that will bypass Totnes and is very unlikely to get used!
If you believe in promoting healthy, alternatives to car use, then please show your support by signing this petition. We have the backing of individuals, MP’s, organisations and businesses from across the region.
To help make this happen, please sign our petition comments are very welcome but you don’t have to leave one. As well as providing evidence of support to Devon County Council, this will allow us to keep you posted on developments.
Please help us get the word out by sharing with your network If you run a local business, or tourist venture, please get in touch and find out how your letters of support can help make this happen!
